Head Coach Sara Luscombe

I'm Coach Sara and I'm thrilled to be returning for my sixth year as a Wyndham Coach.  I started my swimming career as a Wyndham Tidal Wave in 1996; the very first year our team started. I swam for NOVA for 8 years and I was fortunate enough travel around the country and compete at the Junior National level.  I just received my Masters degree from James Madison University in Elementary Education.  I'm looking forward to another GREAT season with the Tidal Waves!

Coach Preston Craft

I am very excited to be back for my 3rd year as a Tidal Waves coach.   I was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and attended Mills Godwin High School.  I am currently a rising senior at VMI, where I am studying Economics and Business.  I studied in Peru last year, and speak fluent Spanish.  I have been a swimmer my entire life and am currently on the team at VMI.  I am looking forward to another great year!

Coach Soozie Lewis

Coach Soozie is starting her first year as an official Tidal Waves coach.  Many of our swimmers already know her as a volunteer coach, parent, and referee!  Soozie has been a swimmer all her life and is an incredible triathlete.  Coach Soozie is also a marathon runner and has run the Boston Marathon several times.  Her son Matthew and daughter Tillie are on the swim team.  Coach Soozie has worked as an official at our meets for many years, so we are excited for her to share her swimming knowledge with the team!

Coach Hunter Knight

I'm Coach Hunter and I am proud to return to coach the Wyndham Tidal Waves for a third straight year. This fall I will be a freshman at Duke University, after graduating from Maggie L. Walker Governor's School. I was recruited to swim on Duke's swim team, and will be majoring in either chemistry or neuroscience while competing on the collegiate level. I have swum for NOVA for seven years and have competed at the Junior National level for the past three. This year, I was offered a spot on the NCSA Junior Nationals All-Star Team to compete against Ireland, England, and Spain in Dublin, but I could not attend the meet. This will be my fifth and final year swimming for the Tidal Waves, and I hold several GRAL Champs and Tidal Waves records. I am looking forward to another fantastic season!
